That First Snowfall

Greetings everyone,

Since I am not too far yet into uni weeks I have had some time to draw this, mainly as an exercise to learn more about different angles, and also a present for my sister, whose face is the model for this. The concept is to portray that excitement you get when you see the first snowfall of the year.

Done in Photoshop CS2 as always, using Wacom Intuos 3, in roughly 3 days. I'd like to ask for your feedback regarding the angles and the perspective of the pavement as they do not seem quite right to me.

I hope you like it, it was quite a bugger to finish this since my Photoshop decided to thoughtlessly die on me twice during the process. Thanks for viewing!

A Sweet Scent

Greetings everyone,

This is just something that I made to keep me busy during university holiday. This piece actually remained nameless until I finished it because I just did not have any idea for a title. I guess "a sweet scent" comes in mind when I see the traces of wild roses on the wall, hence the title. The teddy bear is just there as a complimentary.

Done in Photoshop CS2, during mornings and nights over the course of 5 days, possibly close to 30 hours since I decided to take my time .

The Impure Possession

Greetings everyone,

The impure possession is how I would describe this kind of devilish encounter, as portrayed by the faint silhouette of ghostly hands dictating the girl's right arm. In a way, impure can also be used to convey the girl's tainted soul that has allowed such ill connection to have occurred in the first place.

I hope you like this image... It took me 2 nights (I can't remember how many hours exactly) to make using Photoshop.

Comments and critiques are most wanted. Thanks for viewing!

Lady Flutist

For this image I decided to do something new. At first I made her hair black and her attire red, but then I realized that I have been using that combination forever, and so it got boring. So I made her hair white and used the face of former Miss Korea Park Si Yeon as the model (although when you compare them side by side they don't look really similar ). I also used my bamboo flute as reference. This was created in Photoshop in about 15 hours.

Comments and critiques are most welcome. I love her lips most, let me know what you think.

The Light Bearer

This is an illustration that I just made to celebrate the coming of mid-semester break at university.
Her face was modeled after mine. I used a lava lamp as reference for the lantern. Originally I wanted to use a dark background, but the combination of that + my face made it look like something out of a horror movie..
Done in Photoshop in about 10 hours over a period of 3 days.

Comments and critiques are always welcome. Thanks for viewing!

An Asian girl with blue eyes, I named this image "Konketsuji", which is a Japanese word for "a child of mixed blood or race". Done in Photoshop in about 6 hours.
I tried to make her look as 3D as possible.
Hope you like her.
